Claire and Adam – Kokomo Lifestyle Session

Claire emailed me about doing some headshots and a lifestyle session for her blog, the blog bloom, and I was sooo excited! Her blog is all about her life as a country transplant so we went out to their property and hung out with them in their massive yard and sweet garden. The house smelled like salsa as Claire sliced tomatoes from the garden. Afterwards we headed outside in perfect sunset light. We walked the rows of tomatoes, flowers, carrots, and squash. Adam chased after the chickens and we picked herbs. I love being invited into people’s lives to photograph them at home, we had an amazing evening with these two.

Katie and Mike – Engaged

Katie and I had been emailing all week about the possible storms the day we had their engagement session planned. With the shorter days it’s harder to fit sessions into everyone’s schedule and I crossed my fingers for clear skies. Instead of clear skies we were treated to towering clouds and the softest of sunsets. Katie and Mike beamed at each other as we battled mud, mosquitos, and kids on the playground at Jackson Morrow Park in Kokomo. I am so excited for their wedding next June in Lafayette, these two are the sweetest and it’s going to be amazing.

O Ace Is Wedding – Jesse and Emily

Jesse and Emily had the sweetest little intimate wedding on the property of O Ace Is in Peru, Indiana. The two chose to have only their closest friends and family there and everyone was over the moon for them. We started our day shooting their first look and afterwards joined their family and friends as they waited for the ceremony to begin. Emily walked across the bridge to the property with her father and the wind was blowing her veil in the most perfect way. She looked absolutely stunning in her mother’s wedding dress and Jesse’s eyes lit up when she made her way down the aisle to him. Their daughter, Mia, stole the show during their ceremony! After their sweet ceremony they changed and joined their party with badminton, bbq, and lots of laughter. We rarely get to be a part of a wedding that is so sweet and simple and stress free and we soaked up every minute of it. Thank you so much Jesse and Emily for having us there and best wishes!
