Brittany and Nate – Engaged

Brittany and Nate are too cute, they’re getting married at Kelley Agriculture Historical Museum so we decided to do their engagement session there as well. The venue is really pretty, with a big round barn, little cabins, and a big white farm house.  It was a little chilly but the sun was perfect and I loved every minute of it. When you’re a wedding photographer who does most shoots outdoors winter is HARD. I mean, we try to get out in the snow occasionally but good light is important to us and having a shoot with sun as good as we did this day feels like Spring is finally here. I wanted to cry with joy every time I caught a sun flare or had a halo of sunshiney goodness! I can’t wait till we get to photograph their May wedding at the Kelley Agriculture Historical Museum, fingers crossed the light is this pretty again!

Sarah and Robert – Engaged

We had originally planned to do Sarah and Robert’s engagement photos outdoors in pretty snow but after a horrible blizzard that left us stuck in town we had to change our plans. We went to the Treasure Mart in Kokomo, a huge thrift store in an old factory, on a cold rainy day and sorted through piles of junk, booths full of odds and ends, stacks of old records and books and stopped outside for a few shots in the rain. It turned out to be super fun and it’s always nice to mix it up now and then! I can’t wait to photograph Sarah and Roberts cajun themed wedding in April!

Autumn and Kris – Engaged

Autumn and Kris met me at the reservoir in about a foot of snow, it was one of those awful days where you want to stay in and watch the snow fall but we trekked out anyways and I love the images that resulted from it! Well worth stomping through so much snow. Thanks Autumn and Kris, have an awesome time at your Vegas wedding!
