Peter and Sasha – Engaged

Peter and Sasha met us at Forest Park in Noblesville for their engagement session. I haven’t been to Forest Park in ages and was excited to shoot around the trains and carousel but they were all closed! Peter and Sasha were not concerned, however, and were super smiley and sweet during their session. I’ve never had such a height difference in a couple before and it was a fun challenge! Thanks Peter and Sasha for braving the mosquitos and we’ll see you in October for your wedding day!

Kelley Agricultural Historical Museum Wedding – Brittany and Nate

Nate and Brittany chose one of the most perfect days for their wedding at Kelley Agricultural Historical Museum, perfect weather, perfect location, and so many friends and family there to support them. I think a lot of people say you shouldn’t get married on Memorial Day weekend but to me it’s a perfect wedding date. What better day to start your life than the unofficial start of summer? Brittany and Nate are country folks and they were married in true Indiana country fashion; cowboy boots, baby’s breath, bright blue skies, Brittany’s mother’s wedding dress, and a beautiful round barn reception. I was so excited to photograph their wedding because Kelley Agricultural Historical Museum is a dream venue and a true gem in the area. The property boasts a gorgeous farmhouse, a one room school house, multiple cabins, and the beautiful red round barn. I don’t think my feet have ever been so sore at a wedding, there was just so much to see and so many perfect backdrops for photos! The day began with the couple getting ready in the farm house and their wedding ceremony was held right up against the round barn. After they said “I Do” we took a quick break for photos and then ate some amazing bbq from Hillybilly Fixen’s and started the reception in the round barn. The night finished up with dancing and merriment and ended with a spectacular sunset in the fields. I can’t thank Brittany and Nate enough for welcoming us in their big day and giving us the wonderful opportunity to photograph their wedding! We wish them the best of luck and the best life ever!

Emily and Jesse – Engaged

Emily and Jesse met us on a gorgeous afternoon at Mississinewa state park for their engagement session. We love Mississinewa dearly and they do to, their family has a yearly camp spot there and they met us right from the campground. They brought their sweet little girl, Mia, along for a few shots and tromped around in marshy grasses and climbed up steep hills with us to get to that perfect, dreamy, summer light. We had so much fun photographing this sweet little family, we can’t wait till their August wedding!
