Nate and Brittany chose one of the most perfect days for their wedding at Kelley Agricultural Historical Museum, perfect weather, perfect location, and so many friends and family there to support them. I think a lot of people say you shouldn’t get married on Memorial Day weekend but to me it’s a perfect wedding date. What better day to start your life than the unofficial start of summer? Brittany and Nate are country folks and they were married in true Indiana country fashion; cowboy boots, baby’s breath, bright blue skies, Brittany’s mother’s wedding dress, and a beautiful round barn reception. I was so excited to photograph their wedding because Kelley Agricultural Historical Museum is a dream venue and a true gem in the area. The property boasts a gorgeous farmhouse, a one room school house, multiple cabins, and the beautiful red round barn. I don’t think my feet have ever been so sore at a wedding, there was just so much to see and so many perfect backdrops for photos! The day began with the couple getting ready in the farm house and their wedding ceremony was held right up against the round barn. After they said “I Do” we took a quick break for photos and then ate some amazing bbq from Hillybilly Fixen’s and started the reception in the round barn. The night finished up with dancing and merriment and ended with a spectacular sunset in the fields. I can’t thank Brittany and Nate enough for welcoming us in their big day and giving us the wonderful opportunity to photograph their wedding! We wish them the best of luck and the best life ever!
