Amanda and Dalton – Engaged

This engagement session has got to be my coldest to date. I shot a session in 2 ft snow that wasn’t as cold as this one. That didn’t stop Amanda and Dalton though! We braved the freezing wind, ice cold sleet that was blowing on and off, and all around chilly atmosphere to capture their love. At least they were a little warmer holding on to each other. We escaped some of the wind by jumping in the Kokomo skate park, the full pipe was the only place to hide! After the wind died down a smidge we went into the wet woods and finished their shoot in the lawn at Jackson Morrow Park. Thanks for being tough cookies, Amanda and Dalton!

Hunter and Aaron – Engaged

Hunter and Aaron met us for an engagement session on a COLD Saturday at the railroad bridge downtown and I knew right away watching Hunter walk on that scary bridge in heels that this would be a fun session. They were so sweet and cuddly with each other, you can really tell they like each other or it just might have been because it was so dang cold! We had a blast shooting these downtown Kokomo and at the Kokomo Reservoir. Thanks Hunter and Aaron, you guys were amazing!

Brittany and Nate – Engaged

Brittany and Nate are too cute, they’re getting married at Kelley Agriculture Historical Museum so we decided to do their engagement session there as well. The venue is really pretty, with a big round barn, little cabins, and a big white farm house.  It was a little chilly but the sun was perfect and I loved every minute of it. When you’re a wedding photographer who does most shoots outdoors winter is HARD. I mean, we try to get out in the snow occasionally but good light is important to us and having a shoot with sun as good as we did this day feels like Spring is finally here. I wanted to cry with joy every time I caught a sun flare or had a halo of sunshiney goodness! I can’t wait till we get to photograph their May wedding at the Kelley Agriculture Historical Museum, fingers crossed the light is this pretty again!
