5 Generations Family Session

7 months ago Shane and I shot one of our favorite sessions with Tressie and Kent so I was so excited when Tressie emailed me for a family session with her new little one. She explained that there’s 5 generations now in her family and that to me is so so incredible. The youngest for our session was 7 months, the great great granddaughter and the oldest was 97, the great great grandmother. How amazin! We headed out to their family property where the grass was tall and the sun was warm and laughed, tickled baby feet, and read from great great grandma’s bible and even had Tressie’s dad jump in during the end. We loved this session and can’t wait to see the littlest grow up to be as beautiful as her generations before her.

Faith and Tyler – Indianapolis Maternity Session

One of the best things about being a wedding photographer for a few years is seeing how the couples we document grow their families. We had so much fun being Faith and Tyler’s wedding photographers that I was over the moon when Faith emailed us to do a maternity session. These two are the kindest people you’ll meet and it was great catching up with them while running around the grounds at the Lilly House and 100 Acre Woods at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The weather was mild, the light was perfect, and Faith was gorgeous as always; a perfect April session.

The Newtons – Peru Indiana Family Session

Shane and I met up with the Newtons on a gorgeous fall day to take photos of their sweet little family. Their two boys, Oliver and Rex, were so well behaved and sweet, perfect little models. We spent the session at Mississinewa reservoir when the fall colors were at their peak and the water was low enough to get on the rocks. I love getting to know families and shoot family sessions and this was the perfect way to spend an afternoon outdoors in such a pretty spot.
