Kelley Agricultural Historical Museum Wedding – Brittany and Nate

Nate and Brittany chose one of the most perfect days for their wedding at Kelley Agricultural Historical Museum, perfect weather, perfect location, and so many friends and family there to support them. I think a lot of people say you shouldn’t get married on Memorial Day weekend but to me it’s a perfect wedding date. What better day to start your life than the unofficial start of summer? Brittany and Nate are country folks and they were married in true Indiana country fashion; cowboy boots, baby’s breath, bright blue skies, Brittany’s mother’s wedding dress, and a beautiful round barn reception. I was so excited to photograph their wedding because Kelley Agricultural Historical Museum is a dream venue and a true gem in the area. The property boasts a gorgeous farmhouse, a one room school house, multiple cabins, and the beautiful red round barn. I don’t think my feet have ever been so sore at a wedding, there was just so much to see and so many perfect backdrops for photos! The day began with the couple getting ready in the farm house and their wedding ceremony was held right up against the round barn. After they said “I Do” we took a quick break for photos and then ate some amazing bbq from Hillybilly Fixen’s and started the reception in the round barn. The night finished up with dancing and merriment and ended with a spectacular sunset in the fields. I can’t thank Brittany and Nate enough for welcoming us in their big day and giving us the wonderful opportunity to photograph their wedding! We wish them the best of luck and the best life ever!

Elite Banquet Hall Wedding – Sarah and Rob

Sarah and Rob’s wedding was the perfect start to what is going to be an amazing (and BUSY!) wedding season. When I had first met Sarah and she told me her wedding was mildly cajun themed I was over the moon as a fellow LA native myself but a little confused about how they would pull it off. When I walked in Saturday to Elite Banquet Hall in Kokomo everything about their wedding was perfectly “them”. From the frog centerpieces, to the moss hanging from the ceremony arch, even the date which honored Sarah’s late father was so true to their personalities. So many friends and family showed up to support them and give their love that a few people had to stand in the back and there was barely any room to move around. During the reception it was the same thing, so many hugs and smiles filled the room that you had to squeeze between tables to try to catch them all.

This is Sarah and Rob’s story:

Sylvia and Praveen-Wedding at the Conrad Indianpolis

Where do I even begin with this one? Sylvia and Praveen planned this entire wedding in only two months and it was one of the coolest weddings I’ve ever seen. The whole day was in the Conrad Hotel in Indianapolis, such a pretty venue! I was in awe of all the crazy beautiful details everywhere I turned. They had two ceremonies in one day, an Indian ceremony and a western ceremony, so there was a whole lot of running around trying to fit everything in but it was a blast! Thanks for having us Sylvia and Praveen, we won’t forget it any time soon!!
