Ritz Charles Wedding – Erin and Justin

Erin and Justin’s beautiful wedding was a joy to shoot from start to finish. I say this a lot but this wedding was HOT. Like, the kind of heat that makes you sleepy and just want to lay in a kiddie pool with a hose running on you. That didn’t stop this pair from being incredibly sweet and their wedding guests having an amazing time. Our day started with the girls getting their hair and makeup done before heading to the Ritz Charles  to finish getting ready. Once arriving Shane headed off to hang out with the guys and can I just say that Justin is a pro groom? He taught everyone how to fold their pocket squares, pin their boutonnieres, and even bustled Erin’s dress after the ceremony! After everyone was ready and portraits wrapped up guests began to arrive and Erin and Justin said their “I do’s” amongst family and friends. After their ceremony the crowd moved to the beautiful garden pavillion behind the chapel while we squeezed in a few sweet portraits. Their reception started with dinner, cake, and speeches, and we took a little break from the heat for some photos as the sun dipped down and headed back to start their first dance. A wild dance floor followed fueled by their band ended with their bouquet and garter tosses. Their sparkler exit ended the night and the guests sang the star spangled banner as they ran down the rows of happy faces. Indianapolis wedding photographerRomantic Indiana photographer

Washington Township Park Avon Wedding – Morgan and Tyler

Morgan and Tyler’s wedding was a muggy, muddy, rainy Sunday and it couldn’t have been sweeter. The rain stopped just as Morgan’s dress was on and Tyler and their pup waited outside for their first look. After a few portraits around the park guests began arriving for their ceremony with the soft gray clouds hanging low behind them. After their vows their reception started. Their DIY reception was so perfect with the cupcakes Morgan and family made themselves and all the pretty wildflowers Morgan didn’t just arrange but GREW herself. After speeches, cupcakes, and dinner the pair shared a first dance and Morgan a dance with her dad before the dance floor opened up and the party began. Just before packing up and heading out we took them outside for a few more portraits in the damp woods, always my favorite way to end a wedding. These two were so calm and kind and sweet and rainy weddings like this make me so darn happy.

Holiday Inn City Center Lafayette Wedding – Aaron and Taylor

Aaron and Taylor’s wedding was so dang fun from start to finish. The day started with everyone getting ready at the hotel and right from the start Taylor’s zipper broke and I’ve never seen someone laughing so much from a dress mishap. This girl was cracking up while getting sewn into her dress instead of freaking out, bridechilla extrodinaire! After everyone was ready we took a few portraits before their ceremony was to begin. Once they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife Aaron broke out the animal masks for some of my favorite wedding party shots. They entered their reception and started right in to their first dance before dinner and speeches. Taylor made all these amazing paper flowers, I was in love with their decor! We headed outside just as the sun was setting and the air cooled down for a few portraits before their wild dance floor opened up. We had such a blast with these two, calm and funny and so darn sweet! Aaron and Taylor, you are gems!
