St Joe Farm Wedding – Mary and Andrew

Mary and Andrew held their incredible wedding on a perfect June afternoon and it couldn’t have been better. We began our day with everyone finishing getting ready and headed to the gorgeous St Monica Church in Mishawaka for their ceremony. Andrew’s reaction to Mary walking down the aisle left us all a little teary and was the perfect start to their beautiful ceremony. The music alone made this one so so gorgeous and unique. Definitely the most beautiful ceremony we’ve ever witnessed. After exchanging rings and vows the pair headed out the doors amid cheers and lavender flying in the air and we headed across the street for a few portraits before their reception kicked off. Their reception was held at St Joe Farm in Granger and was just a stunning as the beginning of the day. The huge event barn was covered in ivy and twinkle lights and had the most romantic feel. After dinner and speeches the first dances kicked off and their respective college houses shared special moments, a song with Mary and her friends and a hilarious naming ceremony with Andrew’s crew. We popped outside for a few moments as the sun set on the farm lands beyond and headed back in as the dance floor thumped the rest of the night. Even the father got in on the dancing! Seriously one of the most fun dance floors ever to shoot! This wedding was one of those days that is just so jam packed that  your feet ache but you can’t stop smiling. These two are some of the kindest, sweetest, down to earth people we’ve ever met and we can’t thank them enough for inviting us along for their amazing celebration.

eXplore Brown County Wedding – Rose and Jeff

Rose and Jeff were married on a muggy, crazy hot, Indiana summer day. The last time we shot at eXplore Brown County  it was cold and rainy, a complete 180 from Rose and Jeff’s wedding day. We started with everyone getting dressed before the pair shared a first look in the woods. After we wrapped up portraits guests began to arrive for their ceremony. Despite the heat they had a longer ceremony with lots of readings from their moms and sisters before sharing their first kiss. After walking back down the aisle as husband and wife we headed for the Harvest Hall for their reception (and air conditioning!). Dinner, speeches, and first dances followed before we headed out after the sun had set and the dance floor opened. The pair left for the day between happy guests waving sparklers and we wrapped up with a few last photos under the stars. This day was so sweet and was so dang good to shoot.Brown County Wedding photographerKokomo wedding photographer

Skyline Club Wedding – Erica and Ryan

Erica and Ryan’s wedding day was one for the books. I had a horrible cold thanks to allergies this day and if it was another wedding I might have been miserable but you couldn’t help but be in a good mood thanks to their big smiles that lasted morning to night.

Our day started with the girls all getting hair and makeup done before heading off to the church for the last final details before the ceremony. Their ceremony was held at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church  and was sweet and perfect for them. After they left the church as husband and wife we headed to Holcomb gardens and around the Indianapolis War Memorial for portraits before their reception.

When we first talked with Ryan and Erica I had told them that the Skyline Club was a bucket list venue for me so I was beyond excited to shoot their reception. The room was so stinkin gorgeous, filled with florals and the best light ever. After dinner (that was so good I got teary eyed, seriously) speeches were made and the pair made their way to the dance floor for their first dance. We headed out for a few last portraits afterwards as the sun lit up downtown Indy perfectly. Upon our return the bouquet and garter were tossed and their dance floor opened up and stayed crazy all night until the very last song.

These two, seriously couldn’t find a better pair and their day was so so so good.
