Stephanie and Corey’s wedding day was held at the beautiful Legacy Barn in Kokomo on the windiest of October days. Even though we had just shot at the Legacy Barn the week before, we were so excited to see what these two had in store for their day. It was even better than we hoped.
We began just as the girls were putting on their dresses and finishing touches being made. After a sweet first look we shot a few portraits by the farmhouse to help block the wind which was really picking up speed. Thankfully the house blocked most of it and the sun peeked in between the clouds for the perfect soft fall light.
After portraits guests began to arrive and everyone took their place for the ceremony to begin. They shared their vows and first kiss and greeted their guests with a receiving line before heading in out of the wind to the reception in the barn.
Their decor was SO PRETTY and perfect for the barn setting, with the oil lamps and fairy lights giving a soft glow to the incredible flowers gracing all the tables and cake.
After dinner, speeches, and their first dance we headed outside for a few more portraits before the storm rolled in for then night.
As the rain started to pour guests filled the dance floor with a dollar dance and stayed on it all night until we wrapped up.
These two are so down to earth and we had the best time shooting this rainy, windy, beautiful day!
